Please email me your child’s name, age and a recent snapshot to emily@tutusandtinkertoys.com.  I will be selecting who the sessions go to based on age, boy/girl and the number of applicants. Not appearance. The image just helps me get an idea of how they are in front of the camera and also gives the opportunity to pick them out if I am looking for a particular look in the future for a special stylized session.

If you don’t get chosen this time, I will be keeping your info in case I get the crazy notion to give more stuff away later on.

I really enjoyed seeing their different personalities and age differences coming out.  They had so much energy and life. It was a pleasure to spend the evening with them.

I love getting shots of the kids with mom.  We never seem to have enough of them so they mean so much! 

I still can’t believe that Luke is one already.  It blows my mind.  As usual he was an angel.  A little faster on the crawl but still just as sweet as can be.  I had a great time playing with him and mom and dad.  Wonderful family!

He loved the ducks and playing in the stream.  The water was very chilly but I joined in the fun.

In a couple months he will be a big brother so we wanted to get some maternity images of mom before the baby comes. I really love the ones of Matthew and mom together. Such an incredible bond between mother and child. I love being able to share that moment with them.  I know she will treasure these pictures.  I have to laugh at the images of Matthew looking for the baby and checking out his own tummy.  Totally crack me up!

Thanks so much mama for spending your morning with me. It was so wonderful to meet you both. I can’t wait to meet the new baby in a couple months! Hugs!

Jake and Tess are getting so big!  Here are a few new images and some things about them now…

• They can be the best of friends sometimes (and the worst enemies others!)
• They can now entertain each other for hours.  They play restaurant, board games and DSI together. It is so cute to see them like this.
• When we go out to the grocery store they almost always hold hands in the parking lot.
• At night they HAVE to give each other kisses and hugs goodnight.
• When Jake was gone with Mike this past weekend, Tess cried for Jake whenever she got tired.
• If I put out the sprinkler and some buckets they will play together for hours in the water without a single argument.

• She starts Pre-School in a couple weeks.
• This little miss is four going on fourteen. No seriously.
• She loves to play with stuffed animals. She dresses them and sets them all in a row and plays all sorts of make-believe games.
• In the morning if she wakes up before I have gotten out of bed she will crawl in with me and cuddle.  She says she needs to “lovey mommy”.  I love it!
• She is bossy, bull headed, smart mouthed, messy and man can she whine.
• She NEVER stops talking. Literally.
• They could torture criminals into confessing by playing recordings of her whining.  (it is THAT bad. LOL)
• She loves to color. She probably has 50+ coloring books and boxes of crayons.
• She is ALL girl. She loves to dress up, twirl, wear heals and she loves to make beaded crowns and jewels.
• She likes to say “I love it so much I am going to marry it” about everything.  ie. her dolls, toys, hair, food, clothes and any other thing that catches her fancy.
• You can’t even walk in her room most days.
• Making her clean said room is more work for me than her.
• When we go out people are always drawn to her. She makes friends so easily.
• Her voice is so small and petite but she talks like she is 30 years old.

• He starts second grade in two weeks.
• He loves to laugh and goof around.
• He is obsessed with video games.
• He is a great big brother about 70% of the time.
• No matter what time he goes to bed he is still my early riser (currently between 6:30-7am)
• He hates to have his picture taken right now.
• It might have something to do with the fact that he is missing a TON of teeth and doesn’t like to smile so you can see the holes.
• He is very sensitive. At times TOO sensitive. We are working on that.
• He is constantly singing, humming or making some kind of noise.
• He sings in the car. He knows most of the words to the songs in my playlist.
• He can hum almost any song in perfect key.  Bach, Mozart, the Star Wars theme song, and Mario Bros. theme to name a few.

We got our first order from the Field Trip line yesterday and we are in LOVE! It is all gorgeous! I will be posting some images from the session I did today with my kids.

Remember, everyone is welcome.  Family, friends, clients, clients family and friends.  It is an open house style party with no demo or description.  Just a bunch of women hanging out, having a good time…. SHOPPING! LOL  Please just give me a call if you plan on stopping by so I can make sure I have enough refreshments!  Can’t wait to see you all!

She is being baptized in a couple weeks so we took some images of her in her beautiful baptismal gown as well.  She was such a sweetie and even took a little nap where I was able to pose her in all those cute little sleepy poses. Love it!

What an adorable and loving family. I had a great time playing with baby E, mom and dad.  It was a fantastic Saturday morning. Thanks so much for being so understanding the first time around and for coming back this weekend.  Elijah is such a sweet and handsome little guy! I can’t wait to see you guys at 6 months!

On a side note, in case any of you were wondering why I am not on vacation this weekend, I injured my knee a couple weeks ago and it isn’t getting any better. The Dr. thinks I may have torn my meniscus.  I have been icing it and working through the pain. I am suppose to go in for an MRI but as all you moms know…. EASIER SAID THAN DONE!  LOL  So we canceled said vacation to Mackinac as I thought walking all over an island with no cars to be a bad idea.  I will keep you all up to date on the status of the knee. For now I am not letting it slow me down too much at work.

Poor mom, I don’t think she thought we had many good images when he was done (or should I say WE were done!)  But look at this little cutie! Wow! He is just so adorable.

We pulled out some new props including my brand new Radio Flyer and grey background.  Loving the combination of the two!
