Kristie (a.k.a. mom-to-be)

I had a great maternity session today. WAIT, NO…

I had a FANTASTIC maternity session today. I had the pleasure of photographing an old friend from high school today. We haven’t seen each other since high school, but thanks to Face Book, we were able to get back in touch. I was thrilled when she asked me to do her maternity pictures. Maternity pictures are so much fun and I knew we would get a chance to hang out and catch up.

This was my first studio maternity session and I was slightly nervous. After all, studio and outdoor are so completely different. And with dad’s height (6′6″) I had the challenge of getting UP to his level. I am so used to getting DOWN to a kids level so I had to adjust everything.

LITERALLY. LOL backdrop. lights. reflector. everything.

Once I got adjusted and we started I was so excited! I kept peeking at my viewfinder seeing the images I was capturing and I was so thrilled! She is SOOOO photogenic and every image I took she looked fabulous. It was wonderful.

I had such a hard time picking favorites. I kept editing more and more. I couldn’t stop! So here are my top TWELVE. Because really, I couldn’t get rid of any of these.

Baby Luke-Six Months

I had a wonderful session with this little guy this morning. He is the most laid back baby ever! He makes my job so easy. And on top of it, he is cute as a button!

Spring has Sprung Mini Sessions

I have added a new option in the menu bar up there….

“SPECIALS”

Here you will find information about any mini sessions and promotions I have going.

Right now we are booking mini sessions for Easter/Spring pictures. If you click on the link above you can now choose your time slot and pay for your session right from the site. So much easier. You will get a confirmation email after I receive the payment letting you know your time slot has been reserved for you. I am unable to hold time slots without payment at this time. Time slots are on a first come first served basis. If you don’t completely check out, someone else can purchase your time. Please keep this in mind. Also, if several people choose the same time slot and check out at approximately the same time, the first person will receive the time and any others will be contacted to adjust their time accordingly.

Because a post isn’t a post without pictures and because I did these today with Tess and her new Matilda Jane outfit for the Spring has Sprung flyers…

Sweet Baby Peyton

I got to spend a wonderful afternoon with this little sweetie, her mommy and her nana. It was so nice to see them all again.

She was a perfect little angel for the whole session. I even got to feed her when she got hungry and rock her to sleep. It had been awhile since I had done that. Man had I missed it. Seems like ages since my kiddos were that small.

Thank you all for spending time with me today. I hope you enjoy every minute of that precious little girl. It goes so fast! Can’t wait to see you soon! Hugs!

Luke 6mo.

Sawyer Three Months

My dear friend came to visit today. With her she brought two of the most wonderful children on earth. (She has 4 in total!)

I was lucky enough to be able to photograph this adorable little guy while Tess happily played with his big sister.

My little star and top model did fantastic AS USUAL. He played, laughed and hung out with mom and I while we chatted over a cup of coffee. He is the most laid back little guy ever. Always happy and smiling. Never crabby. He completely spoils me every time I see him, even when I am making him pose for my camera.

Rachel, he was perfect, they were perfect, and as always you were perfect. I enjoy every get together. I am so lucky to have found a friend like you. Thank you for trusting me to capture all the little moments and big milestones in your family. I look forward to every one of them.
